Kristen has a passion for children and ensuring their well being is first and foremost. Accepting the position of CEO in early 2019, Kristen has brought a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective on children and vulnerable populations. She is passionate about ensuring safe and timely actions during crisis maintaining situational awareness and a sense of calm.

Director of Emergency Management and Business Continuity

With more than 18 years experience in the Canadian Forces specializing in Exercise Design and Risk Management, Nicholas has become an advocate in his field. Nicholas has offered his experience to international level boards holding positions of authority in each, such as: President of the International Association of Emergency Managers - Canada Student Region (IAEM: CSR) Executive Board Member of the International Association of Emergency Managers - Canada Region (IAEM: Canada). He is currently serving as the President of International Association of Emergency Managers - Canada Prairie Region. Recently certifying in Business Continuity from DRi Canada, Nicholas continues to show initiative and excitement in life long learning to bring the best practices to his clients. Certified as an Exercise Design Planner in 2015, Nicholas continues to upgrade his skills and education through institutions such as: Justice Institute of BC (JIBC), FEMA, and DRi International.

Suzanne is a certified, award-winning and internationally-recognized author, crisis management consultant, instructor and speaker, who has helped governments, communities and companies plan for and respond to disasters for over twenty years. She was recently named 2016’s ‘Continuity & Resilience Consultant of the Year – North America’ by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI), and had the honor of being a guest speaker at The White House during FEMA’s 2016 Individual & Community Preparedness Awards in September 2016.
